We are currently looking for an Infant lead teacher for our second classroom opening January 2nd. 

The Lead Teacher at The Oaks Childcare and Preschool Center is responsible for providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children in their care. The Lead Teacher designs and implements developmentally appropriate curriculum, fosters a nurturing and supportive classroom environment, and collaborates with parents and colleagues to promote the social, emotional, and academic growth of each child.

We are currently looking for a Preschool lead teacher for our second preschool classroom opening February.

Under the direction of the Director, the Substitute Assistant Teacher or Teacher at The Oaks Childcare and Preschool Center provides support to the other teacher in the classroom while standing in for a AT or Teacher who is out for the day. They will assist in the implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities for young children. The Substitute contributes to the creation of a nurturing and engaging learning environment, promotes children's social, emotional, and academic development, and collaborates with colleagues to ensure the well-being and safety of all children in the classroom.
 
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred or CDA equivalent.
  • Must meet DHS Rule 3 Teacher qualifications.
  • Previous experience working with young children in a childcare center, preschool, or educational setting is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles, theories, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or will be certified in the first 90 days)
